I'm so sorry to read of Kirby's passing. I have memories of working with him at Chicago's Pizza in Spencer back in the 1990s... I can still see Kirby working the sandwich station in the blue polo shirt and baseball cap. He always had a smile on his face, and just seemed like a "good guy" from those days. We exchanged emails a few years ago when we connected on LinkedIn and had a nice exchange. Clearly he was well-liked, loved and respected... I'm sorry that he wasn't given more time. There are no words big enough to describe Kirby !! But he was the most sweetest funniest person I knew ! When I was in middle school watch show choir performances I loved to watch him and his wife there smiles would light up a room they were the reason I wanted to be in show choir !
