Steven Dale Robertson, 67, of Spencer, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the I.U. Hospice House in Bloomington. Steve was born in Indianapolis on September 23, 1954 to Emiel Robertson and Mildred (Vanover) Robertson. He married the love of his life, Tereasa Marie (Ridgway) Robertson, and together they raised four wonderful children. Steve owned and operated the Freeway Station with his father in Spencer for many years and then retired from IMI in Bloomington. Steve was a hard working husband and father, and was often seen selling produce in Spencer, with his family, which they have done for three generations.
Steve is survived by his wife, children, Joy Lynn Holmes, Stephanie Alene (Shane) Freeman, Steven R. (Kristy) Robertson, Toni Nicole (Billy) Showecker, grandchildren, Cody Holmes, Christian (Amanda) Williams, Amber Williams, Dustin Freeman, Makayla Freeman, David Freeman, Lilly Freeman, Clifford Freeman, Mia Freeman, Lyla Freeman, Allie Freeman, Keaton Robertson, Keaunah Robertson, Kaiden Robertson, Monica Showecker, Billie Jo Showecker, great-grandchildren, Vincent Holmes, Camryn Holmes, Declan Williams, Paisley Williams, Briar Tyner, Whitley Freeman, Makayleigh Freeman, siblings, Patty Ann (Dallas) Bowman, Edith Decker, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Linda Robertson, Rebecca Robertson, Roger Lynn Robertson, Susan Jane Freeman, son-in-law, Kevin Holmes, brother-in-law, Norman Mauder.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer. Pastor Larry Decker will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 and again 12:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday, all at the funeral home.
