Timothy “Tim” R. Sears, age 77, of Worthington, surrounded by family and encompassed by the prayers of many, succumbed to accident injuries and passed at 4:20pm on October 9th 2021. Tim was born to Joe and Ruby Carr of Brazil on April 20, 1944 and was raised by his adoptive parents, Raymond and Thelma Sears of Worthington. A graduate of Worthington High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Tim married Linda Clark on September 24, 1966. Tim was a husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, friend and a lifelong member of the Worthington community. He was a hard worker, outgoing, well known, and never failed to leave an impression on those he met. Tim was an active member of the Allen Chapel Church and as opportunity allowed would attend the fellowship at the Switz City Full Gospel Church.
He retired, from NSWC Crane as a Naval Facilities Engineer Technician after 30+ years of service where he was instrumental in the successful completion of many construction projects. Tim operated Sears Auction Service most of his adult life, and enthusiastically pursued his interests in raising cattle and real estate.
