Our Aftercare Services

Life after a loved one dies can go by in a blur, as decisions are made and a new reality sets in. Our caring team understands the complex emotions that come with loss, having experienced this firsthand and talking with grieving families every day here at our funeral homes.

Walking alongside our neighbors before and during a funeral is important to us, and so is offering support in the days, weeks, and months that follow. One of the ways we do this is through having an on-site grief and death counselor available to the families we serve. Nichole Hawkins earned her certification in grief and death studies and has been a tremendous help to so many. Whether you could use a supportive phone call, advice, or a listening ear, Nichole’s expertise is sure to aid in the healing process.

Special Events at Walton Funeral Service

Here at Walton, we are known for hosting community events as well as activities catered to those who have lost a loved one. From interesting speakers to senior movie days to workshops where participants create a teddy bear using an article of their loved one’s clothing, we are all about bringing our neighbors together to heal, have fun, and enjoy life.
